Text Box: How difficult is it? No bead weaving experience is needed for this design, although it may be helpful. You should be comfortable with using small seed beads (Japanese size 11º and 15º) and should be able to maintain a consistent tension with needle and beading thread. This would be a good second or third project for a beginner.

Use seed beads in three different colors to create this softly draped necklace. Contrasting color loops overlap to give a complex, interwoven appearance. Actually, this necklace is easier than it looks.

Full color step-by-step instructions are provided. The instructions also include blank reproducible charts for designing your own color combinations.

Some ideas for other variations are included, along with a photo of several simpler and more elaborate versions.
