This simple, versatile design can go from jeans to formal with its classic look. It is worked in two-needle ladder stitch and right angle weave. In spite of its simplicity (or perhaps because of it) this has been one of my most popular designs. The step-by-step instructions include color photos and instructions for either a button clasp (shown in photo) or a manufactured clasp such as a toggle. Instructions for the bracelet, earrings and ring are included along with an idea for a matching necklace. Ideas for creating your own variations are also included. |

How difficult is it? No bead weaving experience is needed for this design, although it may be helpful. You should be comfortable with using small seed beads (Japanese size 11º and 15º) and should be able to maintain a consistent tension with needle and beading thread. This would be a good second or third project for a beginner. |
