This design was inspired by the Russian Wave pattern, but is worked very differently. Overlapping fans of bugle beads are joined with a Peyote stitched edge to create this lacy necklace that follows the curve of the neck. Use of different size seed beads along the edge gives a pleasing texture and helps create the curves. A matching bracelet completes the set. Full color step-by-step instructions are provided. |

How difficult is it? Some bead weaving experience is needed for this design. You should be comfortable with using small seed beads (Japanese size 15º) and should be able to maintain a consistent tension with needle and beading thread. The instructions cover all stitches, but previous knowledge of peyote stitch would be very helpful. |
